About SmartVent Solutions
Built on expertise. Driven by quality.
SmartVent Solutions was founded by Craig McGuire — a qualified ventilation specialist with hands-on experience across domestic and new build projects throughout Cork and Munster.
Our story
The story behind SmartVent
SmartVent Solutions was established to provide a more focused approach to domestic ventilation across Cork and Munster. Poor specification, installation and commissioning can prevent even good ventilation equipment from performing as intended.
SmartVent focuses on getting each stage right — from assessing the property and selecting the appropriate solution through to installation, balancing, commissioning and handover.
The business is deliberately specialised. We focus on residential ventilation, heat recovery, ductwork, commissioning and servicing rather than trying to be everything to everyone.
Craig McGuire
Ventilation Specialist
Craig's background combines a qualified Sheet Metal trade with Construction Management and project engineering experience, together with specialist NZEB Ventilation training.
This provides SmartVent with practical ductwork and installation expertise alongside the technical and project-management knowledge required to coordinate ventilation systems from design through installation, balancing, commissioning and handover.
SmartVent Solutions was established to provide homeowners, self-builders, builders and contractors with a specialist approach to residential ventilation — focused on correct specification, quality installation and proper commissioning.

How we work
What sets SmartVent apart
01
Honest advice
We'll tell you what your home actually needs — not what generates the biggest sale. If a simpler solution is right for your property, that's what we'll recommend.
02
Proper installation
Every system is installed to manufacturer specification and in accordance with applicable building regulations. Commissioning is never skipped — it's where the performance is proven.
03
Local knowledge
We work exclusively in Cork and Munster. We understand the local housing stock, the climate, and the building practices — and we're always close by for servicing and support.
04
Long-term thinking
A quality ventilation system is a long-term investment. SmartVent designs and installs with performance, serviceability and future maintenance in mind.

Proudly serving Cork & Munster
